It does not matter that the world ‘medical’ is wrong when describing the course of study and instead one should use ‘medicine’. You see, medicine and engineering have for the last two decades or so remained the only course of study which have delivered high paying jobs and for a country like India which is still on the course of economic progress, a well-paying job takes precedence over doing the job one likes or has the passion for.

One should see the parents. They plan for years, sometimes even before conceiving the child on what he or she will study. They visit insurance companies and pick up child plans considering inflation and the imminent rise in college fees. And some try their best to make college professors their friends or family physicians to use their influence to get a leg up in their kid’s admissions!

Well, the trend hasn’t changed and this piece is for those parents who wish to see their child with a Dr. prefix more than anything else. Here are five medical colleges where your child will get the best of training in medicine.
